It is almost as if parents only listened to one radio station their whole lives. That radio station told them how to live, the standards to set, the culture to have, the opinions, views, and prejudices to hold. Now, they expect you to tune into the same radio station, and adopt all its propagandist tenures, because that is all they have ever known.  On the other hand, some other people try to get you to tune in to their radio station, which is ‘be a good girl, or ‘fight the system’, or ‘be a b*tch’,  or ‘take everyone for granted’ but you feel instinctively that that is not for you.  

Somewhere, there is your radio station the broadcast is coming from your Soul, and is so specific it is only meant for you to hear. You were born tuned in to it, but the static and noise around you ever since your birth has taken you away from the station, and consciously, or unconsciously you need to tune in, because it is your guide. Because it is you, it wants the best for you. It is the one who knows you – the deep – secret you, best. 

It is a bigger, better and more evolved you, telling you what you need to know, but you need to  keep searching the airwaves, because sometimes the signal is not strong enough, or you lose track or are distracted by nice music, or an interesting conversation you hear on other channels.  Keep searching for your channel, for your source of ‘you-truth’. It will only ever support you and guide you. Search for that tiny whisper – that seemingly shy, and unassuming voice. It will only ever tell you good things. Once you can hear it in the silence; get quiet, get focused, and listen….
